“I’m running for State House in District 22 - Sand Lake, because Alaskans need an independent and experienced voice in Juneau.”

My name is Steve Trimble. I’m a third-generation Sand Lake resident, and I’m running against Sara Rasmussen for the House seat in District 22.

I decided to run for State House when I saw that my current representative wasn’t showing up for Alaska.

My wife, Jackie, and I have built a successful small business from the ground up, and we were recently recognized by INC magazine as one of fifty fastest growing companies in the U.S.

I have real experience in the resource industry, I’m chair the board of geology at UAA, and I work on the Angel Fund board to kickstart innovative new companies.

I’m invested in making Sand Lake the place where my two young boys will grow and raise a family.

Our current rep didn’t show up. She missed 40% of the votes in the legislature and is gutting the education system that’s raising a new generation of smart, innovative Alaskans.

Join our campaign to restore hard work, innovation, and real experience to our state legislature.
