Stephen Trimble will bring real experience and hard work back to Juneau
My name is Stephen Trimble and I’m running for your consideration as House Representative. I’m a father, husband, entrepreneur and third-generation Sand Lake resident. I’d like to introduce myself to you now so you know you have another choice in the general election come November 3rd. I’m running as an Independent, and I hope you’ll consider my attached resume and my strong Alaskan-first platform.
My grandfather came north to work on the original Alaska gas pipeline and my family has been involved in Alaska’s mining and energy industries ever since. I was born and raised in Anchorage. I’m a product of our public schools, from kindergarten through college. I’ve spent my career working in the mining and energy industries and six years ago, I co-founded a small business with my wife, Jackie.
I’ve served on the Alaska Minerals Commission, The Alaska Arctic Policy Commission, and the Nature Conservancy, among others. I’m proud that these boards are bi-partisan initiatives to bring the best ideas to bear in Alaska. I know from experience we don’t always agree on everything, but if we’re committed to building a better Alaska, we can accomplish great things together.
Your vote this election is critical. The future of our state is in the balance; We’re facing a state budget crisis long in the making which has been pushed over the edge by a global pandemic. Alaskan business owners and families are grappling with an uncertain economic future. I’m running because I believe my background in energy, business management, and entrepreneurship enables me to bring tested experience and solutions to the legislature to ensure our state works for everyday Alaskans again.
I hope your family is safe and well in these challenging times.
-Stephen
